SAINT MARY CATHEDRAL

AKKAR – LEBANON

Saint Mary Cathedral of Akkar Orthodox Archdiocese is located in CheikhTaba-Akkar, just adjacent to the small old cathedral. I have been responsible for the full design of this project during my work with Mabani Development.

The project includes, in addition to the main church, the Bishop’s office, administrative offices, an ecclesiastical court, social halls, a radio channel head office, two small Museums, a library, and document archive storage rooms.

The concept is based on Byzantine architecture.
